On November 4th 2008 the citizens of Clayton County spoke loud and clear, they wanted a new sheriff. With a vote of 4976-Tschirgi to 3814-Hamann the decision was clear!

I'd like to thank the voters of Clayton County for giving me the opportunity to serve you as Sheriff. Thanks to everyone involved in my campaign for all their hard work. I'd also like to thank Sheriff Hamann for his gracious phone call on election night and the hard work he's put in over the years. I'll never forget that the public trust is the most important asset any law enforcement agency can have. My main focus will be to preserve and enhance that trust.

Mike Tschirgi believes we need to stand together and work together from all areas of our county. From our law enforcement officers, to emergency medical technicians, to local fire departments, and all those who help in time of need, we all need each other's cooperation to come together.

To bring our county together with communication and cooperation we need a strong leader with more experience and leadership capabilities unmatched by others. Mike Tschirgi is a strong leader and with over 17 years experience in law enforcement and the right communication skills that it takes when emergency situations arise to keep things focused and disciplined.

When it comes time to vote this November remember that Mike Tschirgi is the one that can bring our county together with the communication and cooperation leadership skills and work experience we need to unite our local emergency units in times of need.
